I’m Devarsh — a business strategist based in India.
I studied at the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, after completing my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from MCET, Thiruvananthapuram. I scored in the 99.7th percentile on the CAT, with a 99.98 in Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.
I currently work in corporate strategy at one of India’s largest conglomerates.
After my engineering degree, I spent two years preparing for the Civil Services examination while also taking the CAT. I picked up a couple of IIM admits along the way, and eventually pivoted to an MBA. I cracked FMS Delhi on my third attempt at the CAT. The journey wasn’t straightforward, but it shaped how I think about strategy, persistence, and career decisions.
This site is where I write about business, life, MBA, and whatever else I’m thinking about. Some of the older posts here are from my Blogger days, written when I was a first-year MBA student trying to help other CAT aspirants.
I’m a keen debater, a fantasy fiction reader, and an anime watcher. I enjoy legal thrillers and casual drives.
